I bought this player in Nov '09. It was my first BR player. I bought it for the price, guess I learned my lesson. The firmware updates are a pain and the site says you can use a cd but you can't. The BR discs take FOREVER to load (like 5 min) and I'd say that out of 10 movies I put in 3 don't work. Now you say that may not be a lot but these are brand new discs. I called the company and they were no help told me it was the software on the disc. HA, they need to keep up with the software its not my problem and how am I supposed to watch the movies I wanna watch if their player isn't compatible? I'll tell you how, go buy a different brand name. Pay the money for the good ones folks or you might regret it. Mine's goin in the trash.
