Pioneer BDP-95FD Blu-ray Disc Reviews Multi-Region Version

The multi-region version from Planet Omni is available.

This player is amazing. And 'much better than the first generation player, bdps1, even the bd91. There are some small things look blue ray. It should not play CDs. when 1000 to spend on an Elite Blu-ray, then you should have the money, good and 600 for a 24-bit or Cambridge Azur CD player-like. blue laser beams are very narrow, and CDs are not read correctly and to do this would be his way of working is considered useful by most major manufacturers.

That said, drool! best upscaling I have seen every player look up to now, all in streaming features and the Pioneer Elite. It 's a really good player and for me I think it's the best time.

It plays CDs, and Advanced Audio decoding internally (not DTS-HD Master) to PCM for transmission over analog or HDMI, for all legacy receivers ago.

Very nice Blu Ray> Player, but with many interesting features. Upload a computer is not as fast as a normal player, but not a big deal. This model is much better than the previous one in this line. Picture and sound is so wonderful on a Pioneer plasma TV.I also have the Elite VSX-91TXH Pioneer amp to go with my system works great, but the work ok on prices.
WOW this player is awesome!

I'm starting to flavor the Pioneer.

According to the manual for the BDP-94FD, the connection diagram onPage 11 shows 8 RCA connectors to support 7.1.

BDP-95FD will be released - I doubt there are great physical changes between the BDP-94FD and being.

I do not claim any particular expertise, but my experience with the Pioneer Elite was my barometer. I bought a second DVD a few years ago on DVD and SACD, which does not support my Denon. Denon, Pioneer has defeated both in image quality and musicality in my setup and the Pioneer is still working, the engine was about Denon6 months ago. Sounds really easy for me ...........

New Pioneer Elite Blu-ray player, the BDP-95FD, is geared to audiophiles as it tried to be videophiles: In addition to HDMI 1.3a xvYCC color, is the codec output bitstream, even the highest audio, including DTS HD Master Audio . In other words, if you bought only one of the last A Kick-Ass A / V receivers, you might actually be able to use audio decoder.
The receiver has a couple of other things, mostprimarily as a weathervane for the media content from the PC system Pioneer's Home Media Gallery.

Pioneer ® Elite ® BDP-95FD Blu-ray Disc Player

The new Pioneer Elite BDP-95FD offers unprecedented picture and high definition sound quality as a result of HDMI 1.3 connectivity. In addition to excellent image quality, higher bandwidth capacity means the player has internal decoding of high resolution audio formats Dolby ® TrueHD, Dolby ® Digital + andDTS-HD (TM) and bit-stream output for all advanced audio formats including DTS-HD Master for 7.1 surround sound performance. The BDP-95FD can faithfully reproduce the 1080p is required at 24 frames per second (fps) rate, to obtain sequences of the film director intended. The Pioneer Elite Blu-ray Disc player comes with HDMI Consumer Electronics Control (CEC) to ensure tight integration with other HDMI-CEC high definition theater components. This functionallows users to control an entire home theater system with one remote control for the ability to comfort.

The new Blu-ray Disc player offers Pioneer's exclusive Home Media Gallery that allows users to directly access and playback of music, movies and photos stored on your PC at home. The intuitive functionality of networking solutions for the IP network also provides for immediate download and new digital media files from your computer through the BDP-95FD on a connected flatTv The Pioneer Elite Blu-ray Disc is compatible with the technology, Digital Living Network Alliance (DLNA), Window and Apple computers video, Windows Vista or Windows Media Connect and Microsoft PlaysForSure (TM) DRM.

How happy I am that I have a Pioneer Elite "Target" ... The VSX-94 is incomprehensible, it was matched with the BDP-95, life is completely left out in harmony .. that, and after it took two full weeks very effectivelink, I was one with ELITEZEN MANUAL ....
I picked up a Pioneer Elite BDP-95HD Pioneer Store in Costa Mesa of.

I review this first for answers to common questions, so as to maintain that the new owners get a quick answer.

The Pioneer Elite BDP-95HD, DTS-HD Master Audio Bitstream products that can be decoded by the receiver / processor?

- Yes Integra DTC-9, 8 show 'My DTS-HD MSTR "when I select the DTS-HD Master Audio soundtrack from your hard drive. AudioFrig'in-UN-believable!

If the load times improved over the 94HD?

- Use PotC: COTBP as a benchmark, it took 22 seconds after pressing the START button on the remote PotC "loading ..." Message and display a total of 38 seconds for the screen by Disney

How does the PQ compare to the 95FD 94HD?

- Very similar - just a little 'sharper 95FD

It works 1080p24fps:

- Flawless

How good is the upconversion on SD DVDBDP-95FD?

- Very good (better than the Pioneer BDP-94HD and HD1)

questions or problems listed: None.

I just got Kingdom of Heaven Blu Ray while listening to the track DTS-HD Master Audio (DTS-HD MSTR :-) Sounds Integra shows frig'in-a-credible.

Player seems to be the operating system correctly. Starting time very acceptable. Respond immediately to distance. It 's hard to say if there is any difference in PQ of the PS3, I've had, but the DTS-HD MA SpiritBubbles ...

It took only 35 seconds after pressing the close button on the remote to play Kingdom of Heaven ...

With the disc into the DVD player and arrested, with PotC: COTBP it took 22 seconds to load PotC message to appear for the second and the Disney screen to appear a total of 38 ...

After the device I can not help but Déjà Vu All Over Again. As you can see in the picture looks almost identical to the 94HD and HD1.I may look like the class but he has. I like the shiny black piano. As Tony said, it takes about 35 seconds to start playing for titles. This is actually an improvement large enough for the two older models. Like the other initial setup is a breeze. I like the screen better on the Pioneer 95FD. It looks like the cooling system. I'm not just comparing this unit to their brothers (or cousins), but also the 1400th Samsung This costs more elite units, but you feel like it ismoney well spent.

Once again I love the resolution button on the remote. Able to fly in the change that much better than having to interrupt the movie and go as you set in menu (like the 1400 and HD DVD players). If other manufacturers could learn a pioneering feature is that a good starting point would be with. Even with 1080p/23.98 (24) take place without problems is a breath of fresh air. Toshiba has to know how many of us who fought so that it is nice to have a unitout of the box (like the 1400, 94HD and HD1), which can be done without problems 1080p/23.98 EDID. I have not spent much time with this device, but what I have, I can say is the best Blu-ray player on the market.

The framework is very colorful and very sharp. It 's very impressive, better than the 1400th (especially for its price) Samsung Not much in terms of pic Q, but when you add up the entire package to know why the Pioneer more. Image settings menuOptions, great remote control (light years ahead of the competition) and, of course, a great picture with great sound. Speaking of sound that I just did some comparisons so far, but it's too easy to select bitstream on the menu. No confusion here. They are either DD or DTS PCM via HDMI or send ... Your call. So simple. I want to do more on the Sound soon, but send the audio sound to my receiver (Onkyo 905) as big as I expected. Also heard good the few minutes I had the95FD do. I'm not saying it's better, because I do not want to open that Pandora's box again. So do not ask here. PM me.

I am using the new Sony VPL-VW60 "Black Pearl" (which is the third photo) for all my comparison so far. And 1080p/23.98 treated as a sample. I can send directly to my Crystal II and then optimize the image before sending it to 1080p/23.98 in VW60. The Pioneer 95FD has all my other components that do not take for granted theseDays.

And yes, I mean the XA2 and A35 which are stubborn when it comes to sending 1080p/24 on some screens. In a direct comparison with the 95FD 94HD, of course, a more flexible instrument, with a little 'load times faster. The ability to pass HBR audio directly to the recipient to decode is a really cool feature. Especially if you are a product of the latest, which can decode. The framework is very close. I keep going back and forth. Straight to my pj seemslike the 95FD is only a little 'sharper, but its bright colors are almost identical. I must say that the Home Media Gallery offers the finest on the 95FD. I never really on this feature before, but now I'm intrigued and I can only Jump In!

Bottom line, if you have the 94HD and not on the audio bit-stream function is then to ensure there is absolutely no reason to dump it for the 95FD. However, if you do not and are the best Blu-ray device in the form of interestView this image / sound Q then look no further than the 95FD! I hate to keep the collection of new devices like the Pioneer Blu-ray my favorite device, but honestly, other companies are still two steps back. The 95FD is the starter in my set up. More to come (SD DVD to the A35 and XA2, and even 1400) and some thoughts on more audio ... BTW, Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer (AB) is looking for and awesome sound on this device! Get a copy!

Well, I'm pleasantly surprised that afterThe 95FD has excellent upconversion. Much better than the 94HD and HD1. I also test via the HQV Benchmark Blu-ray, and treats them very well. Especially my favorite stage torture test! As is the tradition in recent times in my adult video look great! And it is on par with the A35 and XA2. I'll work hard tomorrow and do real side by side comparisons (in 1400), but my first impressions are very good to excellent original ... More to come ..

Great report Joe. Thanks. It looks like a winner. I also like the look of "classic" and the end of the 'elite' institutions. This is probably the car they buy, if my Onkyo 885 Pre / Pro comes.

Do you have a PCM 5.1 track comes from the PS3 vs 95? So that should be no difference be noticeable, but I would not mind if I make a comparison be curious to know for sure would.

Not surprisingly, the DTS-MA from the 95 sounds better than we are at the beginning of full signal compared with only 1.5 of the corePS3. I can not wait to hear it!
The hi-resolution DTS-HD is the king of New York DTS HD audio track (I'm reviewing) and master DTS-HD Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer soundtrack, which says DTS-HD Master ...

As I wrote in this thread the 1400 is very close, but the 95FD produces sharper images. I also prefer to upscaling SD-DVD. I also love all the other trendy features such as the Resolution button on the remote. And 'much better able tothe resolution on the fly to meet you, change the Stop and Go in a setup menu. Especially if you try to compare them! I spent some time this afternoon playing various Blu-ray, but tomorrow I will do my comparisons of the XA2 for SD DVD upconversion. I predict the 95FD will be at par with the XA2. We need to find out which chip is because it is so much better than the 94HD and HD1 ... More to come tomorrow ...

If the 95 can match the XA2 on SDUpscaling is a huge plus. The new DVD XA2 does almost look like HD and so far the only player able to work the same players are very hi-end Denon or costs 5 times more. The Samsung 1200 is the same Reon chip and should be great, but not on new audio capabilities. A second test of a new owner soon I will be 95.

I see the BDP-95fd, and PDP-6010fd. Extremely satisfied. firmware support was outstanding. I use it withwatch a 2.2x digital preamplifier, Boz touch digital amplifiers, Escalante Pinyon and a couple of submarines Escalante. My connection is via the coaxial digital output. I have updated the signature Denon 3930 in my system was using the same set-up and I have the sound quality and impact of low blows me away from BPD-95fd available to say the form is the Pioneer BDP-95fd an exceptional performer in terms of audio and video.

Since my system can only handle two-channel audio via the digital output, I've got 'Two-channel Dolby Digital Plus version?
I too have the 95 and a 94-receiver and is very impressive in the sound department. There is a clear advantage of tunes, but they have. If you have good equipment.

LG BD370 Blu-Ray Disc Player Reviews

It 's time in grade to the next level in your arsenal of home entertainment. After reviewing countless articles and Web sites for the best value and performance, I have narrowed my choice on the LG BD370. The price was at least $ 100, since it was reduced first published in late 2008. My logic is simple, buying high-tech equipment, wait until the hype is over and now my tag for a big discount. 2010 is almost here and the new things of 2009to negotiate prices become old messages available.

The innovative technology is needed in a perfect Blu-ray Disc home theater experience to reach the Premier are all players in the disc LG BD370. I am amazed at how picture entry level - Blu ray Disc player for this capability ensures the best and sound.

The biggest selling point in my decision making LG BD370 my first choice was theThe ability to connect to the Internet via an Ethernet connection, and streaming movies from Netflix and YouTube!

With YouTube, a list of five videos generated and displayed at a time, and are reproduced in a small box on the right. The small box of film selections can also be viewed in full screen mode by clicking on the remote. You can not control the clips with buttons on the remote normal playback, but you must select the icons, but it iscan jump back and forth with the chapter skip buttons.

While fun, if technically imperfect, videos of people who do stupid things at home or kicking one another in the groin on YouTube does not sound like the biggest selling point, in the case of CinemaNow and video-Yahoo partnership, users access to previously captured content of your computer.

I checked the CinemaNow Web site that offers more than 14,000 titles from major movie studios, broadcast andCable TV shows. Talk of the selection for your LG BD370! In contrast with the model of Netflix which is subject to a monthly fee and have unlimited access to payment CinemaNow is an on-demand "model, where only what you want. The LG BD370 allows users to search the entire catalog CinemaNow premium content, buy now streaming content and access movies and other stores operated by CinemaNow. CinemaNow is the first provider of broadband content in high definition!

Another advantage was the quick startup time. Indeed, the startup time is not really a problem with the LG BD370. From power-up when the disc launches TV on your ad is about 20 seconds - including the time required to open the tray, the disc goes to ground and close to "." 20 seconds

If you have old DVD at home on your own HD TV then you can enjoy the breathtaking upscaling technologyMade available on the LG BD370 Blu-ray. I never knew that the improvement in my vision of the film to make such a drastic! The LG BD30 Blu-ray image quality is excellent, all skin tones to come from trees and wheat fields with realistic. frenetic action scenes from action movies are good with an excellent level of clarity treated.

My BD-P1400 has arrived late last night! The firmware was updated last night via Internet download and burn a CD. First Impressions:

Video - !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Audio - !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

FYI: There is no picture or sound quality difference, or any other kind of difference inUSA Region A version of the multi-region A and B version of the Blu-ray BD-P1400 Blu-Ray Disc Player.

I tried a regular DVD and Germany so far and am very satisfied. Shop
Times are very acceptable. No negatives from me on this unit so far. Will
Report later when I have some BRDS apparently problematic.

The Samsung BD-P1400 is a classic style. The front of the car is all shiny black with a thin silver strip along theBottom.

Made my Samsung BD-P1400 last night and boy was I excited! Before this first post I would say is that this is the first and only Blu-ray BD-P1400 Blu-Ray disc player, which I owned and I do respect some of you might be looking. If I do not know Lemme! I would also say that I have the latest firmware as my modem has not improved in the vicinity of a television.

Image

Excellent, duh ...... Inky blacks, good contrast, detail, everything you'd expect from Blue

Design: Great looking BD-P1400 Blu-Ray disc player, even better, I think. Face is very open, not cluttered, and the polished surface rocks. Good from a distance.
Wonderful load times. I downloaded 5 movies so far, and all about. 15 seconds. Then there was the new F4 Silver Surfer .... This is a BD + titles from Fox and many have had no complaints about its load time. The BD-P1400 Blu-Ray Disc Player gave me noProblem and the multi-region version from Planet Omni will be even more incredible. Let me say once again that this is right out of the box, no firmware update yet!

FYI: There is no picture or sound quality difference, or any other kind of difference in the USA Region A version of the multi-region A and B version of the Blu-ray BD-P1400 Blu-Ray Disc Player.
Sound

I have not used the sound as I play my Onkyo TX-SR705 yet. I noticed thatthere is an option on the small group of large speaker mode analog 5.1 out. There are other discussions and reports of personnel that are full of this bitstream DTS-MA Blu-Ray Disc Player BD-P1400 (after firmware upgrade) on other threads and forums. I feel very worried about the test!

Other

The rest of the stuff is pretty standard. 128x max forward drive took the same position in the film even remotely equipped Aus, response time good enoughKeys, etc.

All in all, this is a dynamite BD-P1400 Blu-Ray Disc Player. With the firmware update, this boy now do almost everything you can expect a nice Blu-ray BD-P1400 Blu-Ray Disc Player!

In addition to Blu-ray, the Samsung BD-P1400 plays DVDs and CDs in standard definition.

FYI: There is no picture or sound quality difference, or any other kind of difference in the USA Region A version of A Multi-Regionand the B version of the Blu-ray BD-P1400 Blu-Ray Disc Player.

The BD-P1400 soundtrack PBD-high resolution, the support is excellent. It has onboard decoding for Dolby Digital Plus, Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD High Resolution, that is to say that they can enjoy these soundtracks either in PCM format via the HDMI or analog outputs. For receivers, the BD-P1400 also offers bitstream output for high-resolution audio tracks. So if you have a newer receiver with onboard DolbyTrueHD and DTS-HD Master Audio, you can use the BD-P1400 to output audio over HDMI in encoded bitstream format - let your receiver is not decoding, instead of the BD-P1400 Blu-Ray Disc Player.

There should be absolutely no difference in the quality of the audio receiver if the player is able to decode your receiver or P1400 Blu-Ray BD to decipher, but some AV fans love him, the "Dolby TrueHD" light on their new . If a code freely convert DVDDisc's $ 79.95 Planet Omni has also, and come with two guarantees. So far I am very happy with this purchase. I was not sure if I got the right deal because of the negative reviews I've read, but bought it anyway.

I really do not know why people get upset when it only takes two minutes to play. I rented it several times with Blu-Ray from Netflix with no problems. I'm still waiting for free on eight films.

Connectivityalso solid. There is an HDMI output, the implementation of both audio and video signals to 1080p resolution.

For the high-definition analog video, there is a component video output (limited to 1080i), and there is an S-Video and composite output for standard-def output. (As with all DVD BD-P1400 Blu-Ray Disc Player s, there is no DVD upscaling via component video). On the audio side there are the aforementioned HDMI output, along with 5.1 channel analog outputs, bothOptical and coaxial digital audio outputs and stereo analog outputs.

Rounding out the connectivity is an Ethernet connection, the Internet allows you to update the firmware - a feature that is often common for HD-DVD player, but very different Blu-ray BD-P1400 Blu-ray Disc.

FYI: There is no picture or sound quality difference, or any other kind of difference in the USA Region A version of A Multi-Region and the B version of the Blu-rayBD-P1400 Blu-Ray Disc Player.

The BD-P1400 did a good job of making the opening sequence to Star Trek: Insurrection, demonstrating its 2:03 pull-down capacity. Next up was Seabiscuit, and the BD-P1400 has a stable job to introduce tough, with little or no teeth on the photos in black and white.

MDOJ,

Just a quick update on Samy BD-P1400. I rented some BR from Netflix and have really enjoyed the BD-P1400 - how about you? Techno AllSleight of hand, as I'm concerned this is a great player BD-P1400 Blu-ray Disc.

I hope that the head of this forum is a sticker for the Samsung BD-P1400 make dudes - Note - Note! Watching movies at home here ... can not save.

The Samsung is a really good device for the price. The multi-region version is only $ 849.95 from Planet Omni, we believe that the motherboard dual specially imported a fortune plus the cost of intensive work shouldThis is a real bargain, IMHO.

I could connect my right to my modem with a network cable (as per Samsungs directions in the manual) and the BD-P1400 Blu-Ray player, find the new firmware loaded, and without me on the computer, burning discs ... Very cool, and so on.

The Samsung has a great image and the current state I can hear the DTS-HD Master Audio (Sony can not be said that for twice the price).

With the pace ofI believe that technology to move units, it is very difficult for a manufacturer that manufactures, markets and bring in the "flow" with the technology of the new disc (which change every day), but Samsung has provided me with a device that was in my modem and get an update when you have available. I think it's incredible.

A little 'patience and understanding can go a long way. After all ... Not so long ago that if you bought oneelectronic component, you can not update it at all. I am sure that Samsung is an update soon. I performed without plates, I could not even from the game.

Since I have never seen a 1200 in action, I can not help - but the BD-P1400 PQ is excellent, but what is blue - right?

I have several BD from Netflix and tried a couple of standard-def DVD. All were great. Regarding the issue of shaking hands, I'm not really sure what that is .... and for the playoffs, thenWhat ... Why do you want to make a movie anyway?

Large BD-P1400 Blu-Ray disc player, I was not happy that I consider the new BD-P1400 last week. went to get the 1200th (Plus 100 was the price difference in my favor. PROS = is the image quality is by far the best I've seen, even better than I Panny.

The controls are simple and exactly the same configuration. I do not like to lose the signal at the beginning of the discs.
AUDIO = I am not able to use all the features audiobecause of my Onkyo, a few years old. I have it with the installation of an optical digital cable, the sound is really great, with the exception of POPS I get from time to time.

As for the BD PotC have about 2 minutes, had no problems and multi-region version from Planet Omni will be even more incredible, with the other BD movies. I realized that I was going to hit a break and went to hit play, the movie to play for a minute and then stop. I had to hit play again. A big problem.

Used theEthernet port to download the new firmware can not tell the difference. I'm sorry I'm not so technical, but this is to check out my blue collar. all ?????? s I will answer as best I can

I'm Casino Royale - spectacular!

I have a Playstation 3, the impressive image quality for both Blu-Ray and upscaling of standard DVD as a software upgrade. We use this for our high-definition television in the lounge. I need another BD-P1400 Blu-Ray Disc Player for asecond HD TV, we had only hung in our bedroom.

I waited BD-P1400 will be available on that I put the Blu-Ray has already been agreed and wanted the latest technology. I can not say enough about the quality of sound that BD-P1400 Blu-ray Disc offers this, it's amazing. The picture quality is excellent and on par with the Playstation 3 I'm seriously considering buying a second BD-P1400 to our set because of the excellent sound. DepartmentBD-P1400 Blu-Ray Disc Player especially for the money.

By far the best Blu-ray I've ever tried. Do not watch cartoons, but now I'm spending a lot of time watching with my children.

This is a great Blue Ray BD-P1400 Blu-Ray Disc Player. Bitstream DTS HD MA now. I have this product for about two months in possession and I'm thrilled with it, is really a good deal. I only use my Blu Ray BD-P1400 Blu-Ray to play Blu Ray, as the- Disc 5 is a live audio in the original Samsung. The picture quality is amazing. I own four Blu-ray (which I bought from Amazon for $ 14.99 each), and all play well, no problem, and the multi-region version from Planet Omni will be even more incredible, and a crystal image.

I bought this BD-P1400 Blu-Ray Disc Player in December. I connected an HDMI cable to a Sony receiver. The Comcast cable box is to hook upReceiver. The receiver has a 42 inch Panasonic Plasma 1080P connected. Three HDMI cable is that it is.

He tried worked perfectly from the start with all Blu-Ray we have. We get about a week from Netflix. I can play the third Pirates of the Caribbean Not sure why the other reviewers could not.

The picture quality is stunning, with the planet Earth. I think I can credit most of the Panasonic television for that.

I have version 1.2 of the firmware in December. Ihas the 1.5 firmware upgrade yesterday February 5. I downloaded and created, both the CD ISO.

It works for me quickly. So you have to wait for the boot after a few seconds, so what? Go get the DVD while you wait.

Most computers now take minutes to boot. I think that will probably never be more likely to get worse over time, as these are essentially computers, and more technology advances, these machines are slow to load and activate.

After IThe firmware update, I checked my settings and noticed that they were reset. If you have a digital receiver, you must make sure that the sound of "Bit Rate" is set and not PCM if you want surround sound.

I had no problem, and the multi-region version from Planet Omni will be even more incredible plays regularly with the DVD or CD. So if it is passed, it will also replace my other DVD BD-P1400 Blu-ray Disc and improve the quality of regular DVDs with myother senior Samsung 720p in September

I do not think that anyone purchasing a delay due to the format war. The moment you buy anything these days is out of date and will end up throwing one. So you can at least enjoy while you can, life is too short. At today's price, what the hell, it's cheap, buy now before the dollar worthless! You can create an entire home theater system with 1080p HDMI-based speakers for less than $[...] hours. Thanks China! I have my HDMI cablePlanet Omni, $ 19.95 for 2 meters in length, image and sound great!

Before I hooked this up, I have the firmware via the Ethernet port has been updated. Once that was done I had no problem and the multi-region version from Planet Omni will be even more incredible, the BD-P1400 Blu-Ray Disc Player installed. I was wondering if this negative rating to buy some, but the deal was too good to pass up a stand-alone. Those of you who had problems with thisBD-P1400 Blu-ray Disc have every right to be here, who complain about what these ratings.

However, people complain that it is not 1.1 or 2.0 (BD-P1400 Blu-ray Disc is still not 2.0), must stop. Nowhere in the description it says this BD-P1400 Blu-ray Disc to be in 1.1. If you inform the people there will be updates and BD-P1400 Blu-Ray Disc Player will not be able toBenefits go first, but to say that is horrible and useless, because it is misleading as 1.0. I have a feeling that many people just want to see the film and rarely use the features of 1.1 (as the photo as a comment on the image).

If yes, BD-P1400 Blu-ray Disc is perfect. If you need a 1.1 player BD-P1400 Blu-Ray Disc, get the Panasonic. For me, this works fine for the next year, while the Blu-ray gets its act together andincludes an emerging product. I hope those of you who had problems that could be resolved and can now use the BD-P1400 Blu-ray Disc player like me.

I had no problem and the multi-region version from Planet Omni will be even more incredible, the Samsung BD-P1400-PBD. I put it in, connected to the Internet and started the utility for updating the firmware. After about 20 minutes, the firmware update successfully and I played my first filmwithout problems. Every film I've played since has been playing without problems. You can also update the firmware to burn a CD or if you do not have Internet access, Samsung will send it to you.

This product works great on Blu-ray DVD format in non-European and music on CD-ROM. I found no problem and the multi-region version from Planet Omni is still incredibly with it. He does a superior job of showing layer DVD on my 40 "TV, where my previous BD-P1400 DVDBlu-Ray player would be entitled to only one side of the screen.

A clever touch is undocumented and that she is looking for the correct TV input selection once a disc is inserted. It can be useful if the TV and a Samsung.
I have this on Nov.30, 2007, and unlike other reviewers, what you said, the BD-P1400 will begin again where you left off. Everything else looks and works great.

I'm editing this review to March 13, 2008, to match my experience with the machine. E 'It seems to me that if it is a bootable DVD that was out depends on how the DVD was produced and not on the BD-P1400 Blu-Ray Disc Player. Some DVDs like "Lost Season 3" is not even chapter / scene makers Run to them, still less chance of a break again.

Some DVDs like "3:10 to Yuma", actually have their own system for marking where to stop or where you want to go back, but otherwise require starting from scratch. However, some DVDs do notRestart stopped.

My main complaint with Blu-Ray (not necessarily with Blu-Ray Disc Player BD-P1400, in particular) is that it takes forever to start a DVD if you have a DVD that does not restart where it stopped You must go through the painfully long start-up again.

I learned a minute, do not break a DVD, what causes it to close some of the BD-P1400 Blu-Ray Disc Player. Instead, I think that is 1 / 8Speed, then when I get back, I can easily go back to where I was - much faster than a reboot.

If there is a better BR BD-P1400 Blu-ray Disc anywhere near this price, I have not heard. Now that HD DVD is dead, I hope that DVD Maker is its attention to the production of DVD BR focus work easier and faster.

This is a great player. The only problem is the firmware update. CD-R/RW burn method ... easier and faster. Burn *. isoImage with Nero Burning ROM. The instructions are in support [...]/. I have both HD DVD and Blu-ray. Blu-ray is much better. HD DVD looks upconverted. Carefully read the instructions on the new Blu-ray Live Free Die Hard "contains a note that lets you know the software update is required.

Finally, remember that HDMI 1.3 is compatible ... should seize to 1.3 functionality, you need a cable-TV and the HDMI 1.3 compliant .... the picture is great. Buy thisBD-P1400 Blu-ray Disc and a software update immediately.

I have read and I hope to continue to see many complaints about various HD DVD and Blu-ray BD-P1400 Blu-Ray Disc Player s does not work like humans. I can say that with this model, I had absolutely zero problems.

I'm sure some people write that does not load or do not do it, but I was not impressed. I have not found a single disc did not play perfect. What people have to remember is that in this day and age everything is like a computer, you may need to upgrade is part of life today, get over it.

The manufacturer will at some point this perfectly, but probably so in the meantime I like my films to buy. If you are one of the first, as I'm on the technology, then all the points that you could bump, no big deal is. The BD-P1400 Blu-Ray Disc Player is easy to install, easy to play and loads fast enough. Glad Ibought and already thinking about a second to several categories of rooms.

Complete satisfaction with this product. Greatly improved my normal DVD. I was really surprised at this statement, but the Samsung has announced. The Blu-ray audio is very good. Can not wait until the lock with my new surround system.

This product is money well spent for the viewing pleasure there is. I recommend this product.

For the price this is a bargain. The audio and videoThe quality here is great, the quality and choice of Blu-ray top notch and you can be pretty sure you are getting the Blu-ray for you for years to come. One of the best options for dedicated BD-P1400 Blu-Ray if you are not interested in a PS3.

Before deciding on my Samsung BD-P1400 I have studied many of these customer reviews have been very helpful and purchase. I also read a special AV Science forum on this model on-lineBD-P1400 Blu-Ray Disc Player. First of all, all the information and customer reviews highlight the endemic problem that the introduction of Blu-Ray is a new beginning occurs. Moreover, the functions are developed, which means that all of us at some opportunities if we can buy Blu-Ray BD-P1400 Blu-Ray Disc Player (which is not a PS3).

Personally I have absolutely no interest in having a game console. Secondly, many of these reviews describe in minuteDetail the nature of the problems that people with, and whether and how the problems are overcome. This review adds the data in the second category - practical problems.

When my BD-P1400 Blu-ray Disc on site was the first thing I did was install the latest firmware downloaded from the web by Samsung. I suggest the method that uses a CD as a direct network connection, in both cases, the manuals offer complete directions and web site. Make* Verify that the upgrade version of the successful restart * BD-P1400 Blu-ray Disc, reload the firmware CD, and a comparison between the disk version that is installed.

What are the problems I had? In a month from Netflix discs I have not a single hiccup, not only had a blue screen, no waste in any DVD BD and SD, other problems need to play with - I had nothing * perfect performance! True, some of the criticisms of othercontrols are inherent in the slow technology. But my BD-P1400 Blu-ray Disc is correct and my expectations were exceeded. Without hesitation, I give my BD-P1400 Blu-ray Disc five stars.

Pros: My favorite feature by far, the 24 frames per second output mode. Film shown as they were intended - whether good or bad - and "rub" tossed in slow scenes is significantly improved at 30 FPS. ThisBut in my opinion to justify the price relatively low. [In comparison with my 50 "plasma TV, the video quality of movies from the BD-P1400 at 24 FPS clearly superior to the drives, if supported by advanced computer graphics cards, which won the same cost!] I also like the functions and layout of the remote control that doubles up to control my Samsung TV. Yes, these basic features in the Blu-Ray, but have been implemented very competent.

Cons: Myonly quibble is that I have a set-up function, the analog audio and video delay to allow each other to increase selectable like. This would provide perfect lip-sync when using older (ie slower) audio decoder / receiver, HDMI 1.3 compatible. But I know this feature is not available * to all new Blu-ray BD-P1400 Blu-Ray Disc player, since the HDMI 1.3 incorporates an automatic synchronization if allThe components are HDMI 1.3 compatible.

Maybe I was lucky, but there is no need to build a unique 'playability' of the last problem with the latest firmware. Based on this - 5 stars.

We hope that this Samsung model is also needed assistance in the future to further optimize the operational firmware, for example.
Coming soon: exceptional image quality --- my wife and I say, even for stills, breathtaking "Polaroid".

The unit has all the necessary connections. I play throughYamaha AV-Tuner with 7.1 channels via HDMI, but other connections are available.

There is a simple blue button-on-off button and a tray open-close-loop, located on the border controls. The remote control has different levels of complexity: it is easy to find the strength to pause-play-rewind-fast/slow controls that you use 99% of the time. The remote also offers video menu controls (for example the language), the player controls and menu options for controlling otherAdditional drives --- if and only use it when needed. There was absolutely no institution --- plug and play to do! Great neuro-ergonomics, ie, intuitive user experience.

In more than three weeks of regular use, we found some flaws, but it is unclear whether this technology is the player himself or emerging. Several times the unit went in "Stop" as if the button is pressed, I had to press "Play" to start the movie. Slightly disturbing.

What I would alsohow? Perhaps the controls for the AV amplifier, and, even if the device has all the necessary keys to the amplifier and TV player. Backlighting Perhaps best of all the keys. This is a heck of a lot, recommended everyone to get into Blu-ray.
Good DVD Blu-ray. Easy to use. watching high-definition DVD is great, but watching standard DVD is better.

No problem, have not been found.

Samsung 1400 is much better than the Toshiba HD-A3. The BD-P1400 supports not only TrueHD, butDTS-HD MA bitstream output via HDMI. The A3 is just extract the DTS "core" and can not send bitstream DTS-HD MA out. Only the HD-A35 and the XA2 can do, but both are much more expensive than this player. The BD-P1400 can also full 1080p/24 video output, while the A3 can only transmit 1080i and does not support 24-fps output .

Both are just slow to load, but the A3 is much slower, with almost 2 minutes to warm up full of players and video displayMonitor / screen. The PS3 takes less than 30 seconds btw. The A3 is also very strong, so distractingly mainly because it is a high noise level that is hard to ignore.

Overall, the BD-P1400 is a high-functioning standalone Blu-ray player that supports 1080p/24 output lossless audio (PCM, TrueHD and DTS-HD MA). I would still recommend a four hundred U.S. dollars for the PS3 BD-P1400, but if you really want a standalone player, you can not go wrong with the BD-P1400.
Ireally do not have this player, but I have a friend who bought one and loves it.

This is a great Blu Ray and I am very happy with my purchase, I recommend this player for all and the price is excellent.

It did not disappoint at all. I have no problem playing a DVD or Blu-ray does not. I have no firmware downloads solve all problems. The BD-P1400 works out of the box. The only thing that comes close is that with aslow start and loading.

I am very happy with this player and I'm happy. I can only say that my work so far, and I have recommended to many of my friends when asked for comment.

Works great with my new Samsung plasma ... Not had any problems expressed by other reviewers. Connected to a TV with HDMI and optical audio for home theater ... Stunning PQ and sound.

This Blu-Ray is first class. Easy installation. ThisHi-Def is my first player, and I am very happy with my purchase. I work the latest firmware update in accordance with the instruction manual, and everything went well. The player has a modern, elegant, polished look. The sounds are incredible, and the images are too beautiful to describe. Very easy to install and use. I never understood the difference that a Blu-ray players can experience the film to see and do. I'm no expert, just a normal mother, who boughtBlu-ray for the vision of the family.

Now I have this player for about a month ... After updating the firmware, everything went well. Amazing picture, quiet research units, the large players in the entertainment rack with my HD-DVD.

The upconversion is wonderful! Best part is, I can use optical and take advantage of new audio codecs.

I give this player 5 stars!

It is not a unique problem. I also have the terminal with 2 "clearanceopen top and back without overheating. None of my films have been blocked or not to play in this situation. I tried to "Live Free or Die Hard, all Harry Potter, Planet Earth and others. Firmware 1.5 is coming January 24 and it seemed to solve all the problems have been with others. I would definitely recommend this player to others.

I have a PS3 and a Sony Blu-ray player S-300, and Blu-ray are both excellent. But, I like my new Samsung 1400BD can decode DTS HD audio and does a wonderful movie watching experience. The first thing a new owner should do is go to samusung.com and download the latest firmware update (it is a simple quick process). There are also references to the manual, the player agrees to update the like. I have the latest Blu-ray Disc releases from Fox, Disney, Sony, etc. and the picture quality and sound is perfectly observed. Very satisfied with the product.

ContributionsBlu-Ray BD-P1400 Blu-Ray Disc Player (which is no difference in the basic specifications for
Version region and the region A and B multi-region version, so all contributions are available for both versions.)

There is good: Excellent image quality on Blu-ray, outstanding soundtrack support with onboard decoding Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD High Resolution and bitstream output Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD Master Audio, relatively low price compared to other standalone Blu-rayBD-P1400 Blu-Ray Disc Player s, Ethernet port for firmware updates.
MDOJ,

My BD-P1400 has arrived late yesterday! The firmware was updated last night via Internet download and burn a CD. First impressions:

Video - !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Audio - !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

FYI: There is no difference in picture quality or sound, or any other type of differenceThe U.S. version of the Region A-Region A and B version of the BD-P1400 Blu-ray Blu-ray Disc Player.

I tried a normal DVD and BRD to date and was very pleased. Load
The times are very acceptable. No negatives from me on this unit until now. Will
Report later when I get some of BRDs apparently problematic.

The Samsung BD-P1400 is a classic style. The front of the car is all shiny black with a thin strip of silver inBottom.

I have my Samsung BD-P1400 last night and boy was I excited! Before this review, let me begin by saying to us that this is the one and only Blu-ray BD-P1400 Blu-Ray disc player, and I felt that I perhaps have some of your respect. If I do not know, just lemme! I would also say that I upgrade to the latest firmware but my modem is not near a TV.

Image

Excellent, duh ...... Inky blacks, great contrast, detail, everything you'd expect from Blue

Design: Wonderful BD-P1400 Blu-Ray Disc Player still looking for the best, I think. Face is not very open, overload, and the polished surface rocks. Good remote.
Wonderful loading times. I have 5 movies so far, and all loaded in approx. 15 seconds. Then there was the new F4 Silver Surfer .... This is a BD + titles from Fox and many have had their complaints about the charging time. The BD-P1400 Blu-Ray Disc Player gave me noProblem and the multi-region version from Planet Omni will be even more incredible. Let me say that this right is again out of the box, do not update the firmware again!

FYI: There is no difference in picture quality or sound, or any other kind of difference in the region of a U.S. version of the Multi-Region A and B version of the BD-P1400 Blu-ray Blu-ray Disc Player.
Sound

I have not played with the sound as much as I have my Onkyo TX-SR705 yet. I realized thatthere is an option to set the rules for speakers coming from small to large in analog 5.1. There are other discussions and reports of persons to obtain the full bitstream DTS-BUT, the Blu-Ray BD P1400 Disc Player (after firmware upgrade) on other threads and forums. I am always very happy to try this!

More

The rest of the decree is fairly standard. Max 128x device forward again in the same position even after the movie, very good response from the remote poweredKeys, etc.

All in all, this is a BD-P1400 Blu-Ray Disc Player dynamite. With the firmware update, so now Guy will do almost everything right you can expect from a Blu-ray BD-P1400 Blu-Ray Disc Player!

In addition to Blu-ray DVD player allows the Samsung BD-P1400 standard definition and CDs.

FYI: There is no difference in picture quality or sound, or any other kind of difference in the U.S. Region A version of the Multi-Regionand B versions of Blu-ray BD-P1400 Blu-ray Disc Player.

The BD-P1400-PBD soundtrack, high resolution support is excellent. It has onboard decoding for Dolby Digital Plus Dolby TrueHD and DTS HD High Resolution, which can produce these soundtracks either in PCM via HDMI or analog outputs means. For receivers, the BD-P1400 also offers bitstream output for high resolution audio tracks. So if you have a newer receiver with onboard DolbyTrueHD and DTS-HD Master Audio decoding, you can set the BD-P1400 to output audio over HDMI in encoded bitstream format - let your receiver to decode, rather than the BD-P1400 Blu-Ray Disc Player.

There should be no difference in sound quality if you can decode decode the receiver or the BD-P1400 Blu-Ray disc player, but some AV fans love the "light" Dolby TrueHD on their new receiver. If a code freely convert DVDDisc $ 79.95 Planet Omni has also coming with two guarantees. So far I am very happy with this purchase. I was not sure if I read just because the business of bad reviews, but I bought it anyway.

Really do not know why people get upset if it takes only two minutes to get ready to play. , I rented several times, with Blu-Ray from Netflix used without problems. I am still waiting for the eight free movies.

Connectivity isalso solid. There is an HDMI output capable of carrying both 1080p video signals and high resolution audio.

For analog high-definition video, there is a component video output (limited to 1080i), and there is an S-Video and composite output for standard definition output. (As with all the BD-P1400 Blu-ray Disc Player s, no DVD upscaling via component video available). On the audio side there are the aforementioned HDMI output, along with 5.1 channel analog outputs, bothoptical and coaxial digital outputs and stereo analog outputs.

Rounding out the connectivity is an Ethernet port, CD player, you can upgrade the firmware available on the Internet - a feature that HD DVD players are common, but very rare in Blu-ray BD-P1400 Blu-Ray.

FYI: There is no difference in picture or sound quality, or any other kind of difference in the U.S. Region A version of the Multi-Region A and B version of the Blu-rayBD-P1400 Blu-ray Disc.

The BD-P1400 has a good job of making the opening sequence for Star Trek: Insurrection, demonstrating its ability 02:03 pull-down. Next up was Seabiscuit, and the BD-P1400 is a solid job with the difficult introduction, with few to no jaggies on the images in black and white.

MDOJ,

Just a quick update to Samy BD-P1400. 've Hired a BR from Netflix and have been really enjoying the BD-P1400 - how about you? All technoSleight of hand, as I'm concerned this is a great BD-P1400 Blu-Ray Disc Player.

I hope the guys responsible head of this forum is an adhesive to make the Samsung BD-P1400 - note - help! Watching movies at home here ... not save.

The Samsung device is really good for the price. The version multi-region is only $ 849.95 from Planet Omni, and looks at them with a double motherboard specially imported must cost a fortune in more hard workThis is a really big deal, IMHO.

I could connect my unit directly to my modem with a network cable (as per instructions in the Samsung manual) and the BD-P1400 Blu-Ray player, find the new firmware loaded, and is necessary for me not to get on the computer burn discs ... Very cool, and so on.

The Samsung has a great image and I can update the current DTS-HD Master Audio (Sony did not hear that for twice the price!).

With the pacethat new technology is progressing, I think it is very difficult for a manufacturer to manufacture these units, they get on the market and have very "current" new disk technology, (the) change daily, but Samsung has a me provided with a device that I can in my own modem and when I have an update available. I think it's incredible.

A little 'patience and understanding can go a long way. After all ... It was not long ago that if you bought oneelectronic component, you can not update at all. I am sure that Samsung is an update soon. I ran without food, I could not play as yet.

Since I have never seen a 1200 in action, I can not help - but the BD-P1400 PQ is excellent, but that's what Blu is all - right?

I have tried several BD from Netflix and some standard-def DVD's. All were great. Regarding the problem of handshake, I'm not really sure what it is .... and then switch-off, playWhat ... Why do you want to make a movie anyway?

Great BD P1400 Blu-Ray disc player, I could not be happier that the new BD-P1400 I last week. returned in 1200 to do so. (Plus 100 price difference for me. PROS = pic quality is by far the best I've seen, even better, then I had Panny.

Controls are simple and exactly the same mass. I do not like losing the signal on top of discs.
AUDIO = I am not able to use all the audio functionsbecause of my Onkyo a few years. I have it with the installation of a digital optical cable, the sound is excellent, except for the POPS me sometimes.

As for BD, PotC 2 minutes, had no problem and the multi-region version from Planet Omni will be even more incredible, in other BD movies. I noticed that after the break, I met and went to play, hit, the film would be to play for a minute and then stop. I had to hit play again. A big problem.

UsesEthernet port to download new firmware can not say, although the gap. I'm sorry that I am not technical, but this is to write my blue collar. no ?????? s I will be better, I can not answer

Just finished Watch Casino Royale - spectacular!

I have a Playstation 3 and impressive picture quality for both Blu-Ray and upscaling of standard DVDs was a software upgrade. We use this to our main HD TV in the living room. I need another BD-P1400 Blu-Ray Disc Player for asecond HD TV, we only had hung in our bedroom.

I waited for the BD-P1400 will be available because I go to Blu-Ray already decided and wanted the latest technology. I can not say enough about the sound quality that the BD-P1400 Blu-Ray Disc Player offers this is incredible. The picture quality is excellent and on par with the Playstation 3 I'm seriously considering buying a second BD-P1400 for our main set for great sound. GreatBD-P1400 Blu-Ray Disc Player especially for money.

By far the best Blu-ray I've ever tested. Never watch cartoons, but now I'm spending a lot of time watching with my children.

This is a great Blue Ray BD-P1400 Blu-Ray Disc Player. Bitstream DTS HD MA now. I have owned this product for about two months and are excited about him, is a really good deal. I only use my Blu Ray BD-P1400 Blu-Ray Disc Player to play Blu Ray, becauseaudio receiver on a hard pipe Samsung 5 Image quality - is amazing. I own four Blu Ray (which I bought on Amazon for $ 14.99 per piece), and all good game without any problem and the multi-region version from Planet Omni will be even more incredible, and a crystal clear picture.

I bought this BD-P1400 Blu-ray Disc in December. I connected with an HDMI cable to a Sony receiver. The cable box from Comcast is also the connectionReceiver. The receiver is a 42-inch Panasonic Plasma 1080P online. Three HDMI cable, is this.

It worked perfectly from the start tried all Blu-Ray we have. We get about a week from Netflix. Can I play the third Pirates of the Caribbean Not sure why other reviewers do not.

The picture quality is superb, with the planet Earth. I think I can with the Panasonic TV mostly for that claim.

I have firmware version 1.2 in December. Ihas version 1.5 firmware yesterday, February 5. I downloaded it and created the ISO CD.

For me, it works quickly. So you have a couple of seconds to wait until the boat, so what? Go get a DVD while waiting.

Most computers now take minutes to boot. I guess that will never, probably in time, probably worse, since these are essentially computers, and technology, progress is slower to activate the machine and loaded.

After 'The firmware update, I checked my settings and I noticed that he had reset. If you have a digital receiver, you should make sure that the audio is set to "bit rate" and not PCM if you want surround sound.

I had no problem and the multi-region version from Planet Omni will be even more incredible is not regular DVDs or CDs. If it becomes obsolete, then replace my other DVD BD-P1400 Blu-ray Disc and improve the quality of regular DVDs with myother senior Samsung 720P September

I do not think anyone buys, why delay the format war. When buying anything today, so it is obsolete and will eventually throw one. So at least you can enjoy while, life is too short. At today's prices, what the hell is cheap, buy now before the dollar is worth nothing! You can create an entire home theater system 1080p HDMI-based system with speakers for less than $[...] now. Thanks China! I have my HDMI cablePlanet Omni, $ 19.95 for 2 meters in length, image and sound excellent!

Before this I connected, I updated the firmware via the Ethernet port. Once that was done I had no problem, and multi-region version from Planet Omni will be even more incredible, the BD-P1400 Blu-Ray Disc Player at all. I was wondering if this is to buy some bad reviews, but the deal was too good to join a Stand-Alone. Those of you who had problems with thisBD-P1400 Blu-ray Disc have every right to be here, complaining that what these assessments.

However, people complain that it is not 1.1 or 2.0 player (BD-P1400 Blu-Ray is not even stop to 2.0) should. Nowhere in the description because that's BD-P1400 Blu-Ray Disc Player will be 1.1. If you want to inform people that are coming updates and BD-P1400 Blu-ray Disc, which will not be able toThat performance going forward, but to say that is terrible and useless, because it is misleading as 1.0. I feel that a majority of people only want to see the film and rarely use the features of 1.1 (like 'image picture comment.)

If the BD-P1400 Blu-Ray Disc Player that is perfect for you. If you are a 1.1 BD-P1400 Blu-Ray Disc Player, get the Panasonic. To me, this will work for the next year, while End Blu-ray gets its act together andincludes an ambitious product. I hope those of you who have had problems that could come out of it and can now use the BD-P1400 Blu-ray disc like me.

I had no problem and the multi-region version from Planet Omni will be even more incredible, the Samsung BD-P1400-PBD. I put in, connected to the Internet and started the firmware upgrade utility. After about 20 minutes, the firmware update successfully and I played my first filmwithout problems. Every movie I've also played played flawlessly. You can also update the firmware by burning a CD or if you do not have Internet access, Samsung will send it to you.

This product works well on Blu-ray DVD format also further afield, music and CD-ROM. I found no problem and the multi-region version from Planet Omni will be even more incredible for him. It 'still offer a superior display plain DVDs on my 40 "TV, where my previous DVD BD-P1400Blu-Ray player would be only part of the screen.

A documented essay is that you try and touch the right TV input option, if a disk is inserted. May be appropriate for the TV is a Samsung.
I have this on Nov.30, 2007, and unlike other reviewers, what you have said, the BD-P1400 does not start where you left off. Everything else looks and works great.

To change this review to March 13, 2008, to reflect my experience with the device. ItIt seems to me that if a DVD resume where it left off depends on how the product WAS DVD and Blu-Ray BD-P1400 player. Some DVDs, such as "Lost, Season 3, once 'no chapter / scene makers them, much less chance of starting after a stop.

Some DVDs like "3:10 to Yuma", actually have their own system for marking where to stop or where you want to return, but otherwise require starting from scratch. However, some DVDs do notRestarted, which is stopped.

My main complaint with Blu-Ray (not necessarily with the BD-P1400 Blu-Ray Disc Player in particular) is that it is always necessary to start a DVD, if you have a DVD that does not start where it stopped, it must go through the painfully long start-up again.

Taught me minutes, Do not Break a DVD, which leads to close some of Blu-Ray Disc Player BD-P1400. Instead, I think it is about 8:01Speed, then when I return, I can easily return to where I was - much faster than a reboot.

If there is a better BD-P1400 Blu-ray Disc AB anywhere near this price, I have not heard. Now that HD DVD is dead, I hope that DVD Maker is his attention to making DVD BR focus of work easier and faster.

This is a great player. The only problem is the firmware update. I used to burn CD-R/RW method ... easier and faster. Burn *. isoImage with Nero Burning ROM. The instructions are in support [...]/. Got both HD-DVD and Blu-ray discs. regarding Blu-ray is better. HD DVD seems upconverted. Read the instructions carefully, that the new Blu-ray Live Free Die Hard, "contains a warning that lets you know the software update may be required.

Finally, remember, this is HDMI 1.3 compatible ... so use of 1.3 features, you need a cable-TV and HDMI-compatible .... 1.3 the image is a great need. Buy this nowBD-P1400 Blu-Ray player and update the software immediately.

I have read and continue to play a lot of complaints about the different Blu-ray and HD-DVD BD-P1400 Blu-ray Disc's not working, people were hoping. Can I say that with this model that I had zero problems.

I'm sure some people write that does not load this or that does, but it struck me. I have not found a perfect single-disc did not play. What people must remember is that everything is like a computer in this day and age, you may need to upgrade is part of life now, get over it.

The manufacturer's will finally come to an impeccable, probably yes, but in the meantime I will enjoy the film. If you're an early adopter, as I am on technology then no problem, you may not be a big problem. The BD-P1400 Blu-Ray Disc Player is easy to install, easy to play and loads fast enough. Glad Ipurchased and is already thinking about a second to several categories of rooms.

satisfaction for this product. Greatly increased my normal DVD. I was really surprised by this statement, but the Samsung is not as advertised. The Blu-ray Disc-Audio is very good. This coupling can be expected with my new surround system.

This product is money well spent for the viewing pleasure of giving. I recommend this product.

For the price this is a steal. The audio and videoThe quality here is great, quality and choice of Blu-ray top and you can be pretty sure you will always make Blu-ray for you for years to come. One of the best options for a special Ray BD-P1400 Blu-, PS3 if you are not interested.

Before deciding to purchase my Samsung BD-P1400 I have studied many of these reviews and were very helpful. I also read a special AV Science forum on this model onlineBD-P1400 Blue-Ray Disc Player. First, highlight all information and opinions of the customers problem is endemic to the implementation of the Blu-Ray new standard will be introduced gradually. Moreover, the functions are developed, which means that we are all on some occasions, where to buy the PS3 Blu-Ray BD-P1400 Blu-ray Disc (which is not).

I personally have no interest in owning a game console. Secondly, many of these articles describe in meticulousdetail the types of problems that people are using, and whether and how problems are solved. This review adds data for this second category - practical problems.

When my BD-P1400 Blu-Ray Disc Player Firmware was the first thing I did was install the latest version downloaded from Samsung. Propose the method to a CD, instead of using a direct network connection, in both cases, manuals and websites offer complete instructions. Ensure* Verify that the update was successful * Restart the Blu-Ray Disc Player BD-P1400, and then subjected to a firmware CD, and compares the disk version, the version installed.

What are the problems I had? In a month to see Netflix discs I am not a single hiccup, not a single blue screen, had no cancellations on either BD or SD-DVD playback, other problems have been with - I had * nothing * to provide perfect! True, some other criticalcontrols are inherent in the slow technology. But my BD-P1400 Blu-Ray player was flawless and my expectations were exceeded. Without hesitation, I give my BD-P1400 Blu-Ray Disc Player with five stars.

Pros: My favorite feature by far is the 24 frames per second output mode. Films display exactly as intended - whether good or bad - and "rub" lens swung into scenes is significantly improved compared to 30 FPS. ThisBut in my opinion, justify the relatively low price. [In a direct comparison with my 50 "Plasma TV is the video quality of movies from the BD-P1400 Clearly more than 24 frames per second, when the disks latest computer graphics cards on the Same That won the same cost, I] May Also functions and layout of the remote control that doubles up to control my Samsung TV. Yes, these basic features of the Blu-Ray, but were implemented very competent.

Cons: Myonly quibble is that I have a function set-ups, audio and video outputs for each other may be delayed by a selectable increment, as as. This would provide a perfect lip synchronization in the use of older (ie slower) audio decoder / receiver, not HDMI 1.3 compatible. But, to my knowledge, this feature is not available * * at every new Blu-ray BD-P1400 Blu-ray Disc, as the HDMI 1.3 standard includes an automatic synchronization if allThe components are HDMI 1.3 compatible.

Maybe I was lucky, but I have not a single "playability issue with the latest build of the latest firmware. Based on this - 5 stars.

We hope this model Samsung is also need assistance in the future to further optimize the operation of the firmware, for example.
In short, exceptional image quality --- my wife and I say, even for stills, "Polaroid Picture It!" Breathtaking.

The unit has all the necessary connections. The sound throughYamaha AV-Tuner channels via HDMI 7.1, but other connections are available.

There is a simple blue rings on / off button and a drawer open button-closure, which is on-board controls. The remote has several levels of complexity is easy to find and exploit the power control pause-play-rewind-fast/slow, which is 99% of the time you used. The remote also offers video menu controls (eg, language), menus and buttons and player options for controlling other--- Devices learn to use it only if and when you need it. There was absolutely no institution --- plug and play to do! Great neuro-ergonomics, ie, intuitive user experience.

In more than three weeks of regular use, we found some mishaps, but it is unclear whether this technology is the player himself or emerging. Several times the device has been in "sleep, as if the button was pressed, I suggest to" play "to get the movie started again. Slightly disturbing.

What I would alsohow? Perhaps the controls for the AV amplifier and, even if the device is equipped with all the key players necessary for the TV and amplifier. Perhaps better backlighting on all keys. This is one heck of a game, recommended for everyone to join Blu-ray.
Good BluRay DVD. Easy to use. watching high-definition DVD is great, but looks normal DVD is better.

No problem yet.

Samsung 1400 is much better than the Toshiba HD-A3. The BD-P1400 supports not only TrueHD, butDTS-HD MA bitstream via HDMI output. The A3 can only extract the DTS core and can not send bitstream DTS-HD MA out. The HD-A35 and the XA2 can do alone, but both are much more expensive than the players. The BD-P1400 can also output full 1080p/24 video, while the A3 can only send and 1080i 24fps does not support output.

Both are slow to load, but the A3 is much slower, taking nearly two minutes of warm-up full of players and video displayMonitor / screen. The PS3 has less than 30 seconds btw. The A3 is also very strong, so distractingly mainly because it is a high operating noise that is difficult to ignore.

Total BD-P1400 is the high-Blu-ray standalone player that supports lossless audio capabilities and output (PCM, TrueHD, DTS-HD MA) and 1080p/24. I would still recommend a four hundred U.S. dollars on PS3 BD-P1400, but if you really want a standalone player can not go wrong with the P1400 BD.
INot just the players really, but I have a friend who bought one and loves it.

This is a great Blu Ray and I am very happy with my purchase, I recommend this player for all and the price is great.

It has not disappointed at all. I have no problem playing a DVD or Blu-ray is not. I did not study all-ware, download to resolve any problems. The BD-P1400 is currently out of the box. The only thing that comes close to a scam, is thatslow start-up and load.

I am very happy with this player and I'm happy. I get my report is that it works so much, and I have recommended to many of my friends, when asked for comment.

great with my new Samsung plasma Works ... Have not had any problems other auditors expression. Coupled with an HDMI cable to your TV and home theater optical audio ... Stunning PQ and sound.

This Blu-Ray is first class. Easy installation. ThisHi-Def is my first player, and I am very happy with my purchase. I worked the last firmware update according to the instructions in the manual, and it was good. The player has a modern, sleek, shiny appearance. The sounds are incredible, and the images are too beautiful to be described. Very easy to install and use. I never knew the difference that a Blu-ray can do in experience to watch the movie. , I'm no expert, just a normal parent, which boughtThe Blu-ray player for the family concerned.

I had a month of these players for about an hour ... After updating the firmware, it was perfect. Amazing picture, great rack in the entertainment industry sees peace with my HD DVD player.

The upconversion is wonderful! Best of all, I use optical and advantages of the new audio codecs.

I give this player 5 stars!

It is not a unique problem. I also got on the end with 2 "clearanceopen top and back without overheating. None of my films have been blocked or not to play in this situation. I tried Live Free or Die Hard, all Harry Potter, Planet Earth and others. Firmware 1.5 arrived on January 24 and it seemed to solve all the problems were, among others. I would definitely recommend this player to others.

I have a PS3 and Sony S 300 Blu-ray and Blu-ray players are both excellent. But I like my new Samsung 1400BD can decode DTS HD, and makes the experience a wonderful film now. The first thing you should do a new owner, is to samusung.com and download the latest firmware update (it's a simple rapid procedure). There are also references to the handbook that explains how to update the players. I have the latest Blu-ray Disc releases from Fox, Disney, Sony, etc. and the quality of picture and sound is guaranteed. Very satisfied with the product.
