Not what I expected - Jacques -
I bought this unit specifically for the multi region and zone capability so was happy to pay a bit more. I am a pretty technical person and started connecting the unit up to my TV and was just not able to get it to display a picture on the TV, not even the boot up screen for the unit. I 1st tried the HDMI cable and tested it with another cable I had lying around.

2nd I tried to connect it up with the A/V outputs (composite video, S-video, and component video) as my TV has all these inputs but still no luck, I then tried the same connections on two other TVs but still nothing. I finally gave up and decided to send it back the next day. I was reluctant to buy a Panasonic again as I have had trouble with their products in the past.

I finally gave up on the multi region and zone capability and bought a Sony 3D Blu-ray BDP-BX57 at Costco. This is one awesome player with a ton more functionality then the Panasonic

Take today's flat panel displays, for example. Today, you could have the sweetest sets on the market and Within a year you will probably try to sell it to a friend, make enough money for a newer model that has a higher resolution or more advanced features to buy.

Come back and look againanother example. Remember how home video for the first time? They rely on this piece of BETA difficult to charge me for your enjoyment junk movie.
