Not what I expected - Jacques -
I bought this unit specifically for the multi region and zone capability so was happy to pay a bit more. I am a pretty technical person and started connecting the unit up to my TV and was just not able to get it to display a picture on the TV, not even the boot up screen for the unit. I 1st tried the HDMI cable and tested it with another cable I had lying around.

2nd I tried to connect it up with the A/V outputs (composite video, S-video, and component video) as my TV has all these inputs but still no luck, I then tried the same connections on two other TVs but still nothing. I finally gave up and decided to send it back the next day. I was reluctant to buy a Panasonic again as I have had trouble with their products in the past.

I finally gave up on the multi region and zone capability and bought a Sony 3D Blu-ray BDP-BX57 at Costco. This is one awesome player with a ton more functionality then the Panasonic

Just awful, Shame on you NAD - Audiophile6969696969 -
See the title line, and that's really all you need to know. This is basically an overpriced LG Blu Ray Player that bears what is normally a great audio company's name, where I"m sure most of its price tag comes from.

Also, don't order from Audio Advisor. I've never dealt with a more unknowledgeable group of discourteous [...] in my entire life. They seriously told me to go through NAD for a problem with a product they were selling with their company and then fed me a "solution" to my problem that was just laughable, even as an amateur audiophile. I've already trashed their company in my customer review, but I felt it was only appropriate to do that to them again here.

Oh, but don't forget, avoid this Blu Ray player like the plague, and try an Oppo BDP instead. They actually know what they're doing over there while NAD continues to live in the dark ages of audio.

I bought this DVD a little over a year ago. I should have read the reviews before I bought it because I would have saved my money. It worked great for a while but it suddenly died on me. I bought a dvd cleaner but it does not even read it, all I get is an H02 error and then it stops.

A Big Disappointment -- And a Big Step Backwards from Panasonic - AlanC - New York, NY
There was a time when Panasonic made, arguably, the best portable DVD players. That time has passed. I'm surprised that so many reviewers praise the picture quality of this model -- it just ain't there. Having used earlier Panasonic portables, maybe I was expecting too much. In any event, I got too little. It's okay in a crunch, I suppose, and my kids don't seem to mind the subpar picture (colors, saturation, sharpness are all off the mark, even with the (limited) adjustment the unit allows you). Okay, it didn't cost an arm and a leg, but it's a big letdown, all the same. I'm getting way better picture quality on an ancient Aiwa portable DVD player, as well as a five-year-old Toshiba. Oh, and the unit looks and feels cheaply made, too. Not Panasonic's finest moment.
